Lea Salonga is a Filipina singer and actor, born in Manila in 1971, whose work spans musical theatre, pop concerts and film soundtracks. She originated the role of Kim in Miss Saigon and won a Tony Award for the performance, later playing both Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables. She also provided the singing voices of Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin and the title character in Mulan, performing songs including “A Whole New World” and “Reflection.”

In 1995, she sang Éponine in the 10th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables at the Royal Albert Hall. She made her solo Carnegie Hall debut in 2005, then returned to the musical as Fantine for its 25th-anniversary concert at The O2 in 2010. She later joined Il Divo as a guest on the 2014 A Musical Affair tour.
