Warrant is an American hard-rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1984. The group became known for melodic glam metal on the albums Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich and Cherry Pie, led by songs including “Heaven,” “Cherry Pie” and “I Saw Red.” Frontman Jani Lane wrote those signature tracks. In 1989, Warrant opened arena shows on Mötley Crüe’s Dr. Feelgood Tour. The band returned to the road in 1991 for the Blood, Sweat & Beers Tour with Poison.
Lee Aaron is a Canadian singer, songwriter and musician born Karen Lynn Greening in Belleville, Ontario, in 1962. She adopted her stage name from an early band and released The Lee Aaron Project in 1982. Metal Queen followed in 1984, while later releases included Bodyrock, Some Girls Do and the jazz-oriented Slick Chick. Her best-known songs include “Metal Queen,” “Whatcha Do to My Body” and “Sex with Love,” and she has received multiple Juno Award nominations. Reading Festival was among Lee Aaron’s festival appearances, and in 1985 she supported Bon Jovi at a London show. She has performed in casinos, small arenas and at summer festivals, including Sweden Rock Festival in 2011.
