About Lena Philipsson
Lena Philipsson is a Swedish pop singer and songwriter, born in Vetlanda in 1966, whose music includes schlager and dance-pop. Her best-known songs include “Dansa i neon” and “Det gör ont”; the latter won Melodifestivalen and became “It Hurts” when she represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 2004.
In 2007, Lena + Orup opened at Chinateatern in Stockholm, pairing her with singer-songwriter Orup in a concert production built around their songs. The production moved to Rondo in Gothenburg in 2008.
