Her songs “The Only Thing Worth Fighting For” and “My Least Favorite Life” appeared in the second season of True Detective, where she also portrayed the singer in a dimly lit bar. In 2015, Lera Lynn performed “The Only Thing Worth Fighting For” on Late Show with David Letterman. After her work on True Detective, she played headline club and theatre dates across North America and Europe, and she has also opened concerts for k.d. lang.
Jess Klein is an American singer-songwriter from Rochester, New York, whose music draws on folk, Americana and country. Her catalog includes the albums Draw Them Near, Strawberry Lover and Learning Faith. Jess Klein has performed at the Newport Folk Festival and the Winnipeg Folk Festival, and she has opened concerts for Arlo Guthrie. Her touring also reached Japan, where she performed at the Fuji Rock Festival.
