Lera Lynn in Cologne

Lera Lynn is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Houston and raised in Georgia. She plays atmospheric folk, alternative country and indie rock, and is known for the albums The Avenues and Resistor. Her songs “The Only Thing Worth Fighting For” and “My Least Favorite Life” appeared in the second season of True Detective, where she also portrayed the singer in a dimly lit bar. In 2015, Lera Lynn performed “The Only Thing Worth Fighting For” on Late Show with David Letterman. After her work on True Detective, she played headline club and theatre dates across North America and Europe, and she has also opened concerts for k.d. lang.
