Liz Lawrence in Newcastle upon Tyne

Liz Lawrence is an English singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon. She plays indie pop, folk and lo-fi rock, and her solo catalogue includes the albums Bedroom Hero, Pity Party, The Avalanche and Peanuts. She has also recorded as one half of Cash+David and worked closely with Bombay Bicycle Club. In 2014, she toured with Bombay Bicycle Club as a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist during the So Long, See You Tomorrow album cycle; the run included the band’s concert at Earls Court. She rejoined their live lineup when the group returned after its hiatus, while also playing headline shows under her own name. She later brought songs from Peanuts into her solo set.
