About London Community Gospel Choir
London Community Gospel Choir is a British gospel ensemble formed in 1982 by singer and choirmaster Bazil Meade. It performs traditional and contemporary gospel shaped by soul, and its recordings include Hush and Sing. The choir also supplied the gospel vocals on Blur’s “Tender.”
In 2005, London Community Gospel Choir joined Madonna for “Like a Prayer” at Live 8 in Hyde Park. It has also presented headline concerts at Royal Albert Hall and performed at Glastonbury Festival.
