Los Nocheros in Montevideo

Los Nocheros are an Argentine folk group formed in Salta in 1986. Their close vocal harmonies and folk-pop arrangements draw on traditions such as zamba and chacarera; songs including “Entre la tierra y el cielo,” “Roja boca” and “La yapa” became central to their repertoire. Their 1994 appearance at the National Folklore Festival of Cosquín marked an important step in their national concert history. Los Nocheros later brought their full-band vocal show to the Luna Park arena in Buenos Aires and performed at the Quinta Vergara amphitheatre during Chile’s Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
