Louise Post is an American singer, guitarist and songwriter best known as a co-founder and co-frontwoman of the Chicago alternative-rock band Veruca Salt. Formed in 1992, the group established her voice and guitar work through “Seether,” “Volcano Girls” and the albums American Thighs and Eight Arms to Hold You. She released her first solo album, Sleepwalker, in 2023.

Veruca Salt played Lollapalooza in 1995 during the touring cycle for American Thighs. Post later returned to the road with the original lineup following its 2014 reunion, then performed concerts supporting Ghost Notes. In 2023 she toured under her own name with a full band, pairing solo material with songs by Veruca Salt.
