About Nada Surf
Nada Surf is an American alternative rock and power-pop band formed in New York City in 1992 by singer-guitarist Matthew Caws and bassist Daniel Lorca. The group became widely known through “Popular,” from the album High/Low, and built a broader catalogue around records including Let Go, The Weight Is a Gift and Lucky.
In 2016, Nada Surf performed orchestral concerts in Vienna and Potsdam that became the live album Peaceful Ghosts. The band followed those performances with a 15th-anniversary tour on which it played Let Go in full.
