About Luna Amara
Luna Amară is a Romanian alternative-rock band formed in Cluj-Napoca in 1999. Heavy guitars and recurring trumpet parts shape its sound, heard on albums including Asfalt, Loc lipsă and Pietre în alb, as well as songs such as “Gri Dorian” and “Roșu aprins.”
Luna Amară played Sziget Festival in Budapest and opened for Metallica at Cotroceni Stadium in Bucharest in 2008. In 2010, the band performed at Sonisphere Romania on the day headlined by Rammstein.
