Lynda Lemay in Sainte-Thérèse

Lynda Lemay is a Canadian singer-songwriter, born in Portneuf, Quebec, in 1966, who writes and performs French-language chanson. Her catalogue is known for closely observed stories about family, relationships and everyday life, including “Le plus fort c'est mon père,” “La visite” and “Une mère.” Her major albums include Du coq à l'âme and Les lettres rouges. Repeated engagements at the Olympia in Paris became a central part of Lynda Lemay's concert history in France. Later theatre tours featured material from Décibels et des silences, followed by the songs and stories of La vie est un conte de fous. She has also presented her French-language concerts in Quebec and Geneva.
