Marcus Miller in Baltimore

Marcus Miller is an American bassist, composer and producer, born in Brooklyn in 1959, whose music draws on jazz-funk, fusion and R&B. He wrote, arranged and produced much of Miles Davis’s album Tutu, worked extensively with Luther Vandross and David Sanborn, and established his solo catalogue through releases including M² and the composition “Power.” In 1981, he toured with Miles Davis in the band documented on We Want Miles.
