About Martin Smith
Martin Smith is a British singer-songwriter and worship leader, best known as the co-founder and frontman of the Christian rock band Delirious?. Born in 1970, he wrote or co-wrote songs including “I Could Sing of Your Love Forever,” “Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble?” and “History Maker,” and later released solo work led by the album God’s Great Dance Floor.
From the 1990s, Martin Smith toured internationally as the lead singer of Delirious?, performing in churches, concert halls and at Christian music festivals. The band concluded its live career in 2009 with a farewell concert at Hammersmith Apollo in London. He subsequently returned to the road under his own name for the God’s Great Dance Floor tour.
