Masaki Ueda Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Masaki Ueda is a Japanese soul and rhythm-and-blues singer, born in Kyoto in 1949 and closely associated with Osaka’s music scene. He first became known as the vocalist of South to South before pursuing a solo career; his signature recordings include “Kanashii Iro ya ne,” also known as “Osaka Bay Blues,” and “Takako.”

In 1975, Masaki Ueda fronted South to South at the 8.8 Rock Day festival. That performance was released as the live album Kono Atsui Tamashii o Tsutaetain ya, documenting his early stage work with the band in Osaka.
