Artists
Matchbox Twenty is an American rock band formed in Orlando in 1995 and led by singer-songwriter Rob Thomas. The band’s debut album, Yourself or Someone Like You, introduced songs including “Push,” “3AM” and “Real World.” Mad Season followed with “Bent” and “If You’re Gone,” while More Than You Think You Are included “Unwell.” The Mad Season Tour took Matchbox Twenty through North America and Europe in 2000 and 2001. A 2003 performance at Philips Arena in Atlanta was filmed for Show: A Night in the Life of Matchbox Twenty. The band later co-headlined a North American tour with Goo Goo Dolls in 2013 and toured with Counting Crows on the 2017 A Brief History of Everything Tour, followed by another large-venue run on the 2023 Slow Dream Tour.
David Gray is a British singer-songwriter, born in Sale in 1968 and raised in Wales. He is best known for the album White Ladder and its songs “Babylon,” “This Year’s Love,” “Please Forgive Me” and “Sail Away,” which joined acoustic folk-rock songwriting to understated electronic production. In 2001, he performed at U2’s concerts at Slane Castle during the touring cycle that followed the album. He returned to the record in 2022 for an anniversary tour, playing it in full at theatres and arenas in Britain, Ireland and North America.
