About Matt Elliott
Matt Elliott is an English singer-songwriter and experimental musician from Bristol. He first recorded electronic music as The Third Eye Foundation, then turned toward stark folk songwriting under his own name. His best-known solo works include Drinking Songs, Failing Songs and Howling Songs.
After releasing The Mess We Made, he took his solo repertoire to clubs, theatres and festivals across Europe. These performances have often centred on voice and acoustic guitar, using live loops to build dense instrumental and vocal layers around a Matt Elliott set.
