Max Creek is an American jam band formed in Hartford, Connecticut, in 1971. Its music draws on rock, country and blues, leaving room for extended improvisation. The band is known for the albums Max Creek, Rainbow and Windows. Camp Creek began in 1980 as a festival centered on the band and became a recurring part of its live history. Max Creek also built a long association with The Living Room in Providence through weekly performances, then reached larger outdoor audiences through appearances at Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport.
