MaYaN in Utrecht

MaYaN is a Dutch symphonic death-metal band formed in 2010 by Mark Jansen, Jack Driessen and Sander Gommans. Their music combines heavy guitar work and orchestration with harsh, clean and operatic vocals. The albums Quarterpast, Antagonise and Dhyana established the group’s large-ensemble approach. MaYaN have performed at European festivals including Graspop Metal Meeting and Wacken Open Air. They later marked their tenth anniversary with a concert at De Cacaofabriek in Helmond, using an expanded cast of musicians and vocalists. That concert was documented as Live at the Cacaofabriek.
