Meryl Streek is an Irish musician and spoken-word performer from Dublin who makes electronic punk built around direct, politically charged monologues. His debut album, 796, was named after the children whose deaths were recorded at the Tuam Mother and Baby Home; his later record Songs for the Deceased includes “Paddy” and “If This Is Life.” Meryl Streek took 796 into clubs across Britain and Ireland, including support dates with Bob Vylan. He subsequently joined Enter Shikari for European shows and performed at Glastonbury Festival.
