MEUTE is a German techno marching band formed in Hamburg in 2015. The group recasts techno and house music for brass, woodwinds and percussion, and is known for versions of Disclosure’s “You & Me” and Stephan Bodzin’s “Kerberos,” alongside albums including Tumult, Puls and Taumel. In 2016, a filmed street performance of Âme’s “Rej” in Hamburg introduced the band’s mobile live format to a wider audience. MEUTE then took that brass-and-percussion show to clubs, theatres and festivals across Europe and North America, including Coachella in 2022.
