Monkey Business in Pec pod Sněžkou

Monkey Business are a Czech band formed in Prague in 1999 by keyboardist and songwriter Roman Holý. They play English-language funk and pop informed by soul and electronic music, led vocally by Matěj Ruppert. The albums Why Be In When You Could Be Out? and Save the Robots, along with songs including “My Friends” and “Piece of My Life,” established their repertoire. In 2019, Monkey Business marked their 20th anniversary with a concert at O2 universum in Prague. They perform as a full band and have also brought that format to major Czech festival stages, including Colours of Ostrava.
