Moop Mama in Kirchheim bei München

Moop Mama is a German brass-rap band formed in Munich in 2009. The group sets German-language rap against horns and percussion, a sound heard on albums including Deine Mutter, Das rote Album and M.O.O.P.topia, as well as the song “Liebe.” Beginning in 2009, Moop Mama played unannounced guerrilla concerts in public spaces, using the mobility of its acoustic lineup to perform outside conventional venues. The band later brought that brass-and-rap setup into clubs and onto festival stages, including Fusion Festival and Open Flair.
