Artist
Moreno Veloso is a Brazilian singer, songwriter, guitarist and producer, born in Salvador in 1972. The son of Caetano Veloso, he makes MPB informed by samba, bossa nova and electronic experimentation. His best-known records include Máquina de Escrever Música, made as Moreno +2 with Kassin and Domenico Lancellotti, and the solo album Coisa Boa. Moreno +2 toured with the trio’s songs, establishing a concert format built around vocals, guitar, percussion and electronics. He later performed with his father and his brothers Zeca and Tom in the family concert project Ofertório, which was also released as a live album.
