Mötley Crüe is an American hard-rock and glam-metal band formed in Los Angeles in 1981 by Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars and Vince Neil. The band became known through albums including Shout at the Devil, Girls, Girls, Girls and Dr. Feelgood, and songs such as “Home Sweet Home” and “Kickstart My Heart.” The Carnival of Sins Tour reunited the four principal members for an extensive run in 2005. The Final Tour followed in 2014 and 2015, ending at Staples Center on December 31, 2015. Mötley Crüe returned to the road for The Stadium Tour in 2022, co-headlining with Def Leppard and joined by Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackhearts; the two headliners played stadium dates on The World Tour in 2023. The band performed at the Moscow Music Peace Festival at Luzhniki Stadium in 1989 and later at Download Festival at Donington Park.
