Mujeres in Valencia

Mujeres are a Spanish garage-rock band formed in Barcelona in 2007. Their raw, lo-fi sound developed across albums including Soft Gems, Marathon, Un sentimiento importante and Siento muerte; songs such as “Aquellos ojos” and “Tú y yo” helped establish their Spanish-language period. Mujeres played Primavera Sound early in their career and went on to tour clubs and festivals around the country as their catalogue expanded. In 2022, they marked 15 years as a band with an anniversary concert at Sant Jordi Club.
