My Dying Bride is a British metal band formed in Bradford in 1990. Their slow, heavy death-doom incorporates gothic atmosphere, violin, death growls and clean vocals; key works include the albums Turn Loose the Swans and The Angel and the Dark River, and the song “The Cry of Mankind.” The band’s 2001 concert at 013 in Tilburg was documented on the live album The Voice of the Wretched. Six years later, the concert film and live album An Ode to Woe captured a full performance at Paradiso in Amsterdam.
