About New Street Adventure
New Street Adventure are an English soul band formed in Colchester in 2007 by singer-songwriter Nick Corbin. Their organ-led sound draws on Motown, northern soul and mod-era R&B, heard on the albums No Hard Feelings and Stubborn Sons and songs including “On Our Front Doorstep” and “What’s So Good About Happiness?”
New Street Adventure toured Britain as the support act for The Rifles, taking their full-band soul arrangements into clubs and theatres. They also performed their own London dates, including a show at the 100 Club.
