Nicole Zuraitis in Stony Brook

Nicole Zuraitis is an American jazz vocalist, pianist and songwriter from Connecticut. Her work combines original songs with vocal-jazz interpretation, and her albums include Hive Mind and How Love Begins. The latter, co-produced with Christian McBride, won the Grammy Award for Best Jazz Vocal Album. Nicole Zuraitis has performed at Birdland as a vocalist with the Birdland Big Band and has led her own small-group engagements at Dizzy’s Club. She has also appeared at the Newport Jazz Festival and Saratoga Jazz Festival.
