About Night Beats
Night Beats is an American psychedelic garage-rock band formed in Seattle in 2009 and led by guitarist and songwriter Danny Lee Blackwell. The group’s catalogue includes the albums Sonic Bloom, Who Sold My Generation, Myth of a Man, Outlaw R&B and Rajan, drawing on fuzz-heavy rock, soul, blues and country.
Austin Psych Fest featured Night Beats during the band’s early touring years, and an appearance at the Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia placed the group before another dedicated psychedelic-rock audience. Night Beats subsequently toured clubs across North America and Europe. The band also recorded a Levitation Session at Valentine Recording Studios in Los Angeles.
