Nik Kershaw in Viborg

Nik Kershaw is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist, born in Bristol in 1958. His synth-pop and pop-rock records became closely associated with the 1980s, particularly “Wouldn’t It Be Good,” “I Won’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me,” “The Riddle” and “Don Quixote.” His best-known albums include Human Racing and The Riddle, and he later wrote “The One and Only” for Chesney Hawkes. In 1984, Kershaw toured with Elton John while promoting his first two albums. He performed at Live Aid at Wembley Stadium the following year, playing a set drawn from those records. His later live work has included the Here and Now tours and performances at Rewind Festival.
