Nils Landgren is a Swedish trombonist and singer, born in 1956, whose music ranges across jazz, funk and vocal pop. Known for his red trombone, he leads Nils Landgren Funk Unit and has recorded projects including Paint It Blue, Funky ABBA and the Christmas with My Friends series. Live in Stockholm documented an early Funk Unit concert at the Fasching jazz club. The band later played the Montreux Jazz Festival, where its performance became another officially released concert recording.
