About Nils Wülker
Nils Wülker is a German trumpeter and composer, born in Bonn in 1977, whose music places contemporary jazz alongside soul, pop and electronic textures. He began his recording career with High Spirits and is also known for the albums UP, ON, GO and Continuum.
Decade Live documented his first ten years of concert work as a bandleader. He later toured the music of UP and ON with a trumpet-led band, then presented Continuum in an orchestral setting with the Munich Radio Orchestra. The Closer concerts use a compact trumpet-and-guitar format with Arne Jansen.
