About Ninja Sex Party
Ninja Sex Party is an American musical-comedy duo formed in New York City in 2009 by singer Dan Avidan and keyboardist Brian Wecht. Performing as Danny Sexbang and Ninja Brian, they write synth-pop and rock songs built around absurd fictional exploits. Their best-known material includes “Dinosaur Laser Fight,” “Danny Don’t You Know” and “Cool Patrol,” as well as the albums NSFW, Strawberries and Cream and The Prophecy.
The 2018 Tour de Force took the duo through North American theatres, followed in 2019 by international dates and a tenth-anniversary concert at Credit Union 1 Arena in Chicago. That year they also brought their full-band show to London’s SSE Arena Wembley.
At their concerts, Avidan handles lead vocals in character as Danny Sexbang, while Wecht plays keyboards as the silent Ninja Brian. Canadian synth-rock group TWRP serves as the backing band.
