Artist
Novastar is a Belgian alternative-rock project created by singer-songwriter Joost Zweegers in 1996. Novastar won Humo’s Rock Rally that year and later became known for songs including “Wrong,” “The Best Is Yet to Come” and “Never Back Down.” The albums Novastar, Another Lonely Soul and Inside Outside established its piano-led pop-rock sound. Novastar has performed at Rock Werchter and Pinkpop and has toured clubs and theatres in Belgium and the Netherlands. At those concerts, Joost Zweegers sings and plays piano and guitar with a full band.
