The O'Reillys and the Paddyhats are a German Celtic-punk band formed in Gevelsberg in 2011. They play punk rock shaped by Irish folk melodies and instruments, and are known for songs including “Barrels of Whiskey” and “Green Blood” and albums such as Seven Hearts One Soul and Sign of the Fighter. The band performed at Wacken Open Air in 2019, presenting its songs with guitars, drums, fiddle and accordion. They later took material from Wake the Rebels into European clubs on the Wake the Rebels Tour, including shows across Germany.
