Artist
Oslo Gospel Choir is a Norwegian gospel ensemble formed in 1988 by composer and conductor Tore W. Aas. The choir performs contemporary gospel, Christian worship songs and Christmas music, and is especially associated with the album Tusen julelys and the song “En stjerne skinner i natt.” The choir gave its first concert at Aker Brygge in Oslo in 1988. It later made Christmas concert tours a recurring part of its live work, performing seasonal and gospel repertoire in churches and concert halls. It has also appeared at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert.
