Paul Young is an English pop and soul singer, born in Luton in 1956. After fronting Q-Tips, he established a solo career with the album No Parlez and songs including “Wherever I Lay My Hat (That’s My Home),” “Come Back and Stay” and “Every Time You Go Away.” In 1985, he performed at Live Aid at Wembley Stadium. Seven years later, he appeared at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert there and sang “Radio Ga Ga” with the surviving members of Queen. He also co-founded the Tex-Mex band Los Pacaminos and has performed with the group alongside his solo concerts.
Mother's Finest is an American funk-rock band formed in Atlanta in 1970 by vocalists Joyce Kennedy and Glenn Murdock. The group plays hard rock rooted in funk and soul, and is known for the album Another Mother Further and songs including “Baby Love,” “Piece of the Rock” and “Love Changes.” In 1978, the band performed at Grugahalle in Essen for the German television series Rockpalast, creating a widely circulated document of its early stage work. Mother's Finest returned to the series in 2003 for an open-air concert at Museumsplatz in Bonn.
