Pedro Aznar in Rosario

Pedro Aznar is an Argentine singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born in Buenos Aires in 1959. He helped form Serú Girán and played bass, keyboards and guitar in the group, whose albums include La grasa de las capitales, Bicicleta and Peperina. His solo work draws on rock, jazz and Latin American folk music, and includes well-known interpretations of “Ya no hay forma de pedir perdón” and “A primera vista.” The First Circle tour placed him on international stages as a bassist, vocalist and percussionist with the Pat Metheny Group. In 1992 he rejoined Serú Girán for the band’s reunion concerts, including performances at River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires.
