Pedro Guerra is a Spanish singer-songwriter born in Güímar, Tenerife, in 1966. He first performed with Taller Canario de Canción before beginning his solo career, writing folk-based canción de autor shaped by Latin American traditions. His best-known work includes the albums Golosinas and Hijas de Eva, as well as songs such as “Contamíname” and “Debajo del puente.”

In the early 1990s, he developed his solo repertoire through performances at Libertad 8 in Madrid. In 1995, he recorded Golosinas before an audience, documenting those songs in a theatre setting at Teatro Victoria.
