About Peter Manjarrés
Peter Manjarrés is a Colombian vallenato singer born in Valledupar. Known for songs including “El papá de los amores,” “Obsesión” and “Traga'o de ti,” he won the Latin Grammy for Best Cumbia/Vallenato Album for Solo Clásicos and El Caballero y el Rey.
Peter Manjarrés has performed at the Festival de la Leyenda Vallenata in Valledupar, a principal showcase for the music at the center of his career. His long concert partnership with accordionist Sergio Luis Rodríguez accompanied the albums Solo Clásicos and El Caballero y el Rey, while later performances paired him with Juancho de la Espriella.
