Philipp Poisel in Hamburg

Philipp Poisel is a German singer-songwriter from Ludwigsburg who writes acoustic-led pop in his native language. He made his album debut with Wo fängt dein Himmel an? and is known for songs including “Eiserner Steg,” “Wie soll ein Mensch das ertragen” and “Wolke 7,” as well as the albums Bis nach Toulouse and Mein Amerika. The Projekt Seerosenteich concert production toured in 2012 and expanded to open-air performances the following year, including a show at Berlin’s Waldbühne. He later recorded MTV Unplugged at Scala in Ludwigsburg before returning to arenas in 2017 for the Mein Amerika Tour.
