Philippe Katerine is a French singer-songwriter, actor and visual artist, born in Thouars in 1968. His music draws on chanson, electronic pop and offbeat variété; he is known for the album Robots après tout and songs including “Louxor j’adore,” “La Banane” and “Mignon mignon.” Philippe Katerine took Robots après tout on the road in a theatrical concert built around a live band and choreographed dancers, a period documented by the live release Borderlive. In 2024, painted blue and appearing as Dionysus, he performed “Nu” during the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris.
