About Photek
Photek is the recording name of English electronic producer Rupert Parkes, whose intricate drum programming and atmospheric sound helped shape 1990s drum and bass. His key releases include the albums Modus Operandi, Form & Function and Solaris, as well as the tracks “Ni-Ten-Ichi-Ryu” and “The Hidden Camera.”
Fabric in London has hosted Photek for club sets. In 2012, he performed DJ sets at Coachella in Indio and Movement in Detroit.
