Pierce Pettis in Grass Lake

Pierce Pettis is an American folk singer-songwriter from Alabama who was part of New York’s Fast Folk circle. His catalogue includes “You Move Me,” recorded by Garth Brooks, as well as the albums Making Light of It, Everything Matters and State of Grace. Pierce Pettis has performed at the Kerrville Folk Festival and at songwriter venues including Eddie’s Attic in Decatur, Georgia. He has also performed and recorded with Kate Campbell and Tom Kimmel as the New Agrarians.
