About Piero Pelù
Piero Pelù is an Italian rock singer and songwriter, born in Florence in 1962, who co-founded Litfiba in 1980 and became the band’s lead singer. His work with the group includes “El Diablo” and “Proibito”; after beginning a solo career, he released songs including “Io ci sarò” and “Gigante.”
Piero Pelù fronted Litfiba on the Pirata Tour and on the Terremoto and Spirito tours that followed in the 1990s. After rejoining the group, he returned to the road for the Trilogia 1983-1989 shows and later for L’Ultimo Girone, the band’s 2022 farewell tour.
He has performed at Rome’s Concerto del Primo Maggio and entered Festival di Sanremo with “Gigante” in 2020.
