Artist
Ploho is a Russian post-punk band formed in Novosibirsk in 2013 and led by vocalist and guitarist Viktor Uzhakov. Its stark guitars, bass lines and drum-machine rhythms are heard on albums including «Куда птицы улетают умирать», «Пыль» and «Фантомные чувства», while «Закладка» and «Горький опыт» are among its best-known songs. In 2021, Ploho recorded a full-band session for KEXP at Home, documenting its guitar, bass, vocals and programmed percussion. The group later used the same three-piece setup on club tours in Europe and North America, where vocals and guitar are performed by Viktor Uzhakov.
