Pohlmann is the stage name of German singer-songwriter Ingo Pohlmann, the former frontman of the band Goldjunge. His solo work pairs guitar-led pop with German-language lyrics; he is known for “Wenn jetzt Sommer wär” and the albums Zwischen Heimweh und Fernsucht and Fliegende Fische. Pohlmann represented North Rhine-Westphalia with “Mädchen und Rabauken” at the 2007 Bundesvision Song Contest, then returned to the competition for Hamburg in 2013 with “Atmen.” His club and theatre work has also included the recurring concert series Jahr aus Jahr ein.
