About Ponto De Equilíbrio
Ponto de Equilíbrio is a Brazilian roots-reggae band formed in 1999 in Vila Isabel, Rio de Janeiro. Fronted by Hélio Bentes, the group established its sound on the album Reggae a Vida com Amor and became known for songs including “Aonde Vai Chegar,” “Santa Kaya” and “Novo Dia.”
The concert release Juntos Somos Fortes documented the band performing at Circo Voador. They also carried their Portuguese-language repertoire to Rototom Sunsplash in Spain and Summerjam in Germany.
