Poor Man's Whiskey in Portland

Poor Man's Whiskey is an American band formed in Northern California in 2001. The group plays bluegrass-rooted Americana and jam rock, and is known especially for Dark Side of the Moonshine, its acoustic reworking of Pink Floyd’s The Dark Side of the Moon, as well as original albums including Roadside Attraction and Goodbye California. High Sierra Music Festival, Kate Wolf Music Festival and Strawberry Music Festival have all hosted Poor Man's Whiskey. Its concerts are full-band performances built around guitar, banjo, fiddle, bass and drums, while special shows have presented the music of Pink Floyd as a complete concert program.
